Red Light Therapy

Photons of red and infrared light allow cells to use oxygen efficiently, reduce the binding of nitric oxide to cytochrome C oxidase, and thus create sufficient water and ATP. Only red light can penetrate deep into the body and mitochondria, where it stimulates ATP production, healing, regeneration, and thus improves appearance, performance, and overall condition.

Simply put, red light helps mitochondria function better and create more water and energy. When mitochondria are healthy, a person’s health and performance improve.

There are generally no side effects with red light therapy with the most common complaint being tiredness or partial redness of the skin. However, it is still recommended to consult with a doctor before using it as a treatment for any medical condition and to never use it as a substitute for prescribed medical treatments.

Red light therapy is generally considered safe and has very few reported side effects. Some individuals may experience mild skin redness or temporary warmth after a session, but this typically subsides within a few hours. If you experience any discomfort or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.

Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation or low-level laser therapy (LLLT), is generally considered safe for most people. However, there are a few cases where caution is recommended or the therapy should be avoided altogether:

  1. Photosensitivity: People with photosensitive conditions, such as lupus or porphyria, should avoid red light therapy, as their skin may be more sensitive to light exposure and could cause an adverse reaction.
  2. Pregnancy: Pregnant women should consult with their healthcare provider before using red light therapy. There is limited research on the effects of red light therapy on pregnant women, and it is better to err on the side of caution.
  3. Epilepsy: People with epilepsy or a history of seizures should be cautious, as the pulsing lights in some red light therapy devices may trigger a seizure.
  4. Cancer: For individuals with cancer, especially skin cancer, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before using red light therapy. Some studies suggest that red light therapy may promote cell growth, which could be detrimental for those with cancerous tumors.
  5. Certain Eye conditions: While red light therapy is generally safe for the eyes, those with pre-existing eye conditions or who are taking medications that increase light sensitivity should exercise caution and consult their healthcare provider.
  6. Medications: Some medications can cause increased sensitivity to light, including certain antibiotics, diuretics, and retinoids. If you’re taking medications that increase photosensitivity, consult with your healthcare provider before using red light therapy.
  7. Pacemaker / other implanted electronic device: If you have a pacemaker or any other implanted electronic device, it’s important to consult with your healthcare provider or the device manufacturer before using red light therapy. Although red light therapy does not typically interfere with pacemakers, it’s always best to seek professional advice to ensure your safety. It may also be worth considering a shielded device like our new Pulsing models as well as using from a distance of 24″ away or more to minimize any possible EMI interference.

Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting red light therapy, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns. They can provide guidance on whether the therapy is appropriate for your specific situation and ensure that you are using it safely.

Cellular Energy: Red light therapy can help improve cellular health by enhancing mitochondrial function and energy production. By stimulating the production of ATP, the energy currency of cells, red light therapy can help cells perform their functions more efficiently. This can lead to a wide range of systemic health benefits, from improved skin health to reduced inflammation, enhanced muscle recovery, and increased athletic performance.

Skin Health: Red light therapy has been shown to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, promote collagen production, and reduce inflammation in the skin. It is also highly effective in treating chronic conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Fitness & Recovery: Red light therapy is used by elite athletes worldwide for its ability to help with recovery. By promoting cell regeneration and increased blood flow, red light therapy can help reduce muscle soreness and stiffness, allowing you to feel more energized and less fatigued.

Circulation: Red light therapy has been shown to increase circulation, which helps to deliver nutrients and oxygen more efficiently throughout the body. This can help improve energy levels, promote healing, and aid in weight loss efforts.

Stress & Sleep: Red light therapy has been shown to help improve sleep quality by reducing stress and anxiety. By helping to calm the mind and relax the body, red light therapy can help you fall asleep more easily and stay asleep longer.

Pain & Inflammation: Red light therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment for pain relief and inflammation reduction. This is due to its ability to promote the release of nitric oxide, a compound that helps to reduce inflammation.

Red light therapy can often be combined with other treatments such as massage, sports deep tissue massage, chiropractic care, physical therapy, cupping therapy, IASTM (scraping therapy), percussion therapy, and assisted deep stretch therapy. For the best results and to avoid any complications, it’s always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before combining therapies.

Product

Red light does not penetrate through clothing, so to maximize the results, it is recommended to be fully nude or in minimal clothing such as gym shorts and/or a sports bra.

You can experience results as early as after the first treatment session with red light therapy. To get the most out of your Red Light Therapy Bed, consistency is key. We recommend once-daily use, although using your device 2-3 times a day may be beneficial for symptomatic areas.

Some evidence suggests that RLT may help in muscle recovery and performance enhancement, making it popular among athletes for post-workout recovery.

Our system gives you complete control. You can fine-tune each wavelength, set the frequency and duty cycle exactly as you need, and enjoy smooth, stepless frequency control up to 10,000 Hz. Plus, with an independent cooling system, the device stays stable and reliable even during long sessions.

Bed comes fully assembled. If your doorway is narrower than the bed, we provide a video guide showing how to detach the top section for easier entry.

OEM / ODM

Customize your device and choose between shape, size, color, wavelength, logo and more, complete fully new designed devices can be provided by our professional team.

We offer three branding methods for the bed:

  1. Laser engraving (usually only be silver)

  2. Screen printing (which produces bright and vivid colors and works well for most designs)

  3. UV stickers (usually used on packaging)

Note: If you decide on the printing method, please send me your logo in AI or PSD format (pure logo only, no background). The logo effect will be sent to you during logo design(which usually on 2-3 working days after placing the order).

Silk screen, UV printing or laser are available. We will charge an additional fee for your logo. If you want to get a logo with 1-2 colors, the silk screen is the best; gradient colors can be printed with UV light; laser only supports the color of the original material, so it is single.
